Donor-Advised Funds

Use DAF Direct (link to instructions). Communicate with your fund administrator to generate the gift and to understand any quarterly or end of year deadlines they may have. 

Matching Gifts

Many businesses and corporations match personal gifts to nonprofits made by their employees and in some cases, by family members of employees and/or retirees. By taking advantage of your matching gift benefit, you can double or triple the amount of your gift. Find out if your company is a matching gift company.

Fundraising

Get creative with your giving, consider:

  • Hosting your own Facebook fundraiser to celebrate a birthday or other meaningful occasion.
  • Creating an event. We have many examples of ways you can help support the cause and get others involved. From a Buzzoff in a fire station to a car wash in a school parking lot, we can help you get set up and ready to fundraise! Reach out to us, and we can help.
  • Designating DetecTogether as your workplace charity.
  • Donating gifts in kind.
