We were so happy to get back together again for our first in-person events since 2019, welcoming friends to a small, intimate concert by Ricky Duran on Saturday, October 16, before hitting the links for a single-course version of our annual golf tournament at the Haven Country Club on Monday, October 18. The presenting sponsor for our Back Together Again event was CMP Advanced Mechanical Solutions.
The Haven Country Club’s Ballroom turned into a rock venue for the night as Duran, who found success on NBC’s “The Voice,” played a private concert for guests, exciting the crowd with his soulful vocals and blues guitar talent. Duran is a graduate of Berklee College of Music and Grafton High School. While he currently lives in Austin, TX, Ricky, who lost his mother to breast cancer, was excited to play and support our life-saving work. The concert was sponsored by Powertech Controls Co., Inc.
On Monday, we were back at The Haven for the DetecTogether Golf Tournament. Sponsored by Subaru of New England, the day had all the unique things golfers have come to expect from DetecTogether—delicious food and drink, legendary goody bags, awesome prizes, and tons of fun.
