Getting Started with Online Learning
A refresher on how to set up your Administrator/Group Leader account, invite employees to enroll in Online Learning, and view course usage reports.

I Need To…
Check your email inbox for the “Welcome Email” from workplacetraining@detectogether.org.
- Follow the instructions in the email to create a password.
- After you have successfully set up your account, return to the login screen. Type your email address and password in the designated boxes, then click “Login”.
- TIP: Bookmark the Online Learning Login Page so you can return to it any time: workplace.detectogether.org/my-account/
- DO NOT share your username and password. Employees will create their own accounts and log into the Online Learning individually.
If you cannot find the account set-up email, contact us at workplacetraining@detectogether.org.
STEP 1: Find your organization’s unique enrollment link. Check any of these locations:
- Your Group Leader email with set-up instructions.
- Your “Welcome” email to forward to employees.
- Your Online Learning account. Click on “Invite Users” in the “My Account” dropdown menu. For detailed instructions and step-by-step photos, see the Group Leader User Guide.
NOTE: The enrollment link is unique to your organization and should not be shared externally.
STEP 2: Share the enrollment link with your employees. Use any of the methods below.
- Forward the “Welcome to DetecTogether—Share this Life-Saving Benefit with Your Team” email directly to your employee contact list. Please change the Subject Line to “Announcing a new wellbeing program from DetecTogether.”
- Create your own email to introduce 3 Steps Detect Online Learning to your employees. Be sure to:
- Use an attention-grabbing subject line/heading.
- Include key information about the benefits of the program.
- Include the enrollment link. See the top of this section for how to find your organization’s unique enrollment link.
- Publish in a company newsletter (printed or online), blog, intranet, or other internal communication platform. TIP: See the “Tools for Maximizing Engagement section of this website for ideas. Be sure to:
- Use an attention-grabbing subject line/heading.
- Include key information about the benefits of the program.
- Include the enrollment link. See the top of this section for how to find your organization’s unique enrollment link.
Get detailed step-by-step instructions in the Group Leader User Guide.
- Click the “My Account” menu (top right of webpage), then click “Group Management”. This will show you a snapshot of enrolled users and whether they have started any courses.
- To download a copy of this snapshot view, click the “Users” drop-down menu and then “Export CSV”.

- Click the “Reports” drop-down menu (on the right, in the middle) and choose how to organize reports:
- By COURSE—show all users’ progress in a specific course (ex. “3 Steps Detect” Course)
- By PROGRESS—view individual user’s progress in all courses (ex. employee “John Doe”)
