We are proud and excited to share that members of our team recently published a scholarly paper in the American University Washington College of Law Health Law & Policy Brief about the tremendous benefits of Early Detection and Diagnosis (EDD).
As we look to make systemic change, we examined the impact of early detection on both survival rates and cost, as well as research on the root causes of delayed diagnosis. The article, The Clinical and Economic Impact of the Early Detection and Diagnosis of Cancer, was co-authored by DetecTogether President, Tricia Laursen, our Medical Advisor, Dr. Peter Deckers, as well as Shruti Kulkarni and Stacey Worthy, attorneys at DCBA Law & Policy LLP, and Dr. Richard Manning, attorney in the Life Sciences Practice at Bates White, LLC.
